Time Running

Usually People Judge You Because Of Their Own Insecurities. Don't Make Their Issues, Your Issues!

When Was The Last Time You Told The Important People In Your Life, "I Love You" or "Thank You?" There's nothing that will make a good man or woman leave faster than feeling unappreciated.

Food For Thought. Good Night Family

Remember when you were graduating high school? Seems like only yesterday, right? That's how fast you'll be forty, fifty, and sixty. Don't waste your life waiting to live your dream. Do it now!

People are single for many reasons. Some are enjoying their lives until a worthy person crosses their path. Others are approached by decent people all the time but refuse to compromise their standards. While many men and women are too busy with kids, sick parents, school, etc.

The Paradox Of Time, by Dr. Bob Moorehead

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet... more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete.

Remember to spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

And always remember, life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by those moments that take our breath away.

Words or Wisdom

Words or Wisdom
By Sonia Frances Stevens

With everything that we all endure
It is our life that we must secure.

Each person we do meet.
There is something we learn when we greet.

With turmoil all around of life
With everyone, life is ours to keep
Through strife when things are at ends
It is up to you and me to make amends.

You and I are the same
You and I are here to learn
You and I are here to share.
We share because deep down inside,
We all do really care.

In bad times,
We face our life to learn.
Being together,
Is what we all learn.

In good times,
We celebrate,
Because we learnt to overcome the hard times.

Each phase of life
You and I must share.
Because deep inside we really do care.

Being alone,
We all go into despair.
Being tighter, we learn, love, share, care,
And we work for each other.

So my words to you are:
Share your life, in all types of weather.
Because no man is an island.

To live a fruitful life you and I must share.
You and I open our heart to care.

We love, give what others need,
Listen,
And validate each others point of view.
We hold their truth in our hearts
And do not distort it,
Or judge it.

Only then do we experience inner peace,
Self- love and joy.

World Of “If”

World Of “If”
By Sonia F Stevens

If only…..
If I did…..
If I did this…..
If I did that…..
What If…..
Maybe If…..
If you……
If I…..
If my…..
If work…..
If life…..
If they…..
If she…..
If he…..
All the “If’s” in this world,
There are so many and too many
Take each thing as it comes
Live your way, you chose it.
When “If’s” come knocking at your door
Sit and remember
You sis the best, with what was known
What was available to you at that place in time.
You cannot drink the spilt milk
Which now is soaked deep into the ground.
Admit to yourself
You did the best, at that point in time
With what you knew and with what you had.
Let it go and completely move on.
Do not destroy yourself in this world of “If”
You learned from that piece of experience.
You become a little bit wiser.
You learned.
So please forget the “If’s”
That is now in past.

Knowledge

Knowledge
By Sonia Frances Stevens©

You have all knowledge.
Everything you ever need to know is within you.
All knowledge
All understanding comes from within
And from knowing that you are one with earth, sky
Water fire, universe
With a tree; to flowing breeze.
Your teachers give you information but never understanding.
Respect your teachers and learn
But do not look to them for answers, as everyone’s answers are different

You must look for answers that are your own. So root your answers to the ground and send your branches reaching the sky
And your mind into the vast reaches of the universe within and without.
And receive all you knowledge that is there for waiting for you.

Young men

Young men
                                                                                         By Sonia F Stevens©

Five young men
Five play boys
Five young stallions

What is it they all have
It is their youth
It is their growth

They each have their ways
They each have their plays.

Five young men
Their pictures are true till the end
Their lives are to live to make a friend

Five youthful young men
They are full of hope
They are full of life

Each one has heir own strife
They are each living their own life

Cheeky and lusty
They all want some fun
Life is all in front of them.

I wish them well
They could not tell the hard from the meld
To this, they would never meld

They all listen to the elder’s story
To lean that this could be a part of their our true story
For in it, they see all the glory.

Young men
Dreams of fun and life
Dreams are not of future strife

For these young men
This is their beginnings
This is where they find all meanings

The hope, the dreams,
The life of pleasure
Is for all these men’s leisure
This is what their aim
For that treasure.

In time it will all become a measure
In life their will, is all treasured
It is their dreams
It is all that life means.

Let them dream
Let them scream
This is their lives to measure
These young men
They listen
They learn
Their lives will not be perturbed

These young minds
Are thirsty to learn
These young men
Are willing to learn
These young men will
Be I for the greatest adventure.
Life
Life will always get you.

See Pee

See Pee
By Sonia F Stevens

I will find another lover
I will never find another lover such as you.
You are closer to me than my own mother.
Because you are my real lover.

All my life I have been waiting for
I prayed for someone like you.
I prayed to find someone like you.

Deep down inside, I really love you
Because of all that I have found you.

You turned my life completely around
You picked me up, when I was down
You brought light into my life.

I will find another lover
But I will never find another lover such as you.
All my life I was waiting for you.
SeePee I wanted you to be with me always.
For I know that is how it always should be.

Stormy Weather

Stormy Weather
By Sonia Frances Stevens

Stormy weather,
Is when you must find a have shelter.
The storm can be slight and dissipate right out of sight.
Or the storm could last and destroy everything of man.
The storm could mean a great fight,
There is always a light in sight.

When you ride the storm out.
You could fight it out.
This could destroy your body inside out.
You could ride the stormy weather and be like a tree.
Let the wind sway your branches, but have your roots secured in strong ground.

For all storm come and go.
With a full rage of fury and devastation
Or
With clouds of lightening which winds only blow.
With all their own insecurity.
The best way to go with the stormy weathers
Is to find some sort of shelter.
There will always be an ending of the storm.
